Dr. Negussie is a dedicated radiologist who is a part of the team of medical professionals at Southfield Radiology Associates. 

Conveniently located in Southfield, Michigan, Southfield Radiology Associates combines the most sophisticated radiology technology with personal attention to provide patients with thorough, individual care. The experienced, board-certified radiologists, technicians and friendly knowledgeable staff are trained in many subspecialties, including general radiology, ultrasound (abdominal and pelvic screening, prostate imaging), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), women’s imaging (mammography, bone densitometry, OB/Gyn and breast ultrasound, ductography), osteoporosis screening, vascular intervention, tissue sampling and nuclear medicine (bone and lung scanning, SPECT scanning, and stress testing.

Involved in the education of residents and medical students, Dr. Nequssie serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.

Her current hospital affiliations in Michigan are at Ascension Providence Hospital Southfield and Novi Campuses.

Educated in Ethiopia, Dr. Negussie received her Doctorate of Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine at Addis Ababa University. She then traveled to Southfield, Michigan to complete a residency in radiology at Providence Hospital. 

Continuing her medical training, she completed a body imaging fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Experienced in using medical imaging techniques, the doctor is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is an independent, not-for-profit organization and is one of 24 national medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties.

On a professional level, Dr. Negussie is an active member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, the North American Society of Cardiac Imaging, and the Michigan State Medical Society.
