The East Campus of Wise Health System in Decatur, Texas opened its doors in 2006. The 176,000-square-foot hospital features 99 private patient rooms in a spacious and welcoming environment and uses the most advanced acute-care equipment available. Services include: bariatric surgery, cardiac services, emergency services, gastroenterology, hospitalist services, imaging, intensive care, labor and delivery, laboratory services, oncology, physical therapy, pulmonology, senior services, stroke care, and surgery. 

With a board educational background, Dr. Wills graduated with her medical degree from the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine in 1990. Upon graduation, she served her residency in general surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 1995.

Thereafter, she attained board certification in general surgery through the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.

Having been in practice for over three decades, Dr. Wills is affiliated with Medical City North Hills. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. 

General surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on abdominal contents including the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, appendix and bile ducts, and often the thyroid gland. A general surgeon performs a wide range of abdominal surgeries for many forms of intestinal and abdominal wall neoplasms, gallbladder disease, gastric and pancreatic disease. They follow the patient through critical care and surgical recovery all the way to outpatient care.
