Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Dr. Moon graduated with his medical degree from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University in 1997. He then trained at both Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic, and received fellowship training in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona under noted Harvard trained physician, Dr. Anthony Weill, who is considered a pioneer in evidence-based complementary therapies.
Furthering his education, he earned his Master of Science degree in Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth College.

Following his tenure in Consultative and Diagnostic Medicine, where he became known by his peers as a master diagnostician, Dr. Moon became the Chair of Executive and International Medicine at Mayo Clinic. There, he spent nearly a decade and was ranked among the top 5 physicians in patient satisfaction, after which he moved his practice to Flagler Health+.
“I was instilled with the understanding of how much time spent with patients and performing a thorough history and physical examination resulted in markedly improved medical outcomes during my training and work experience at Mayo Clinic. I have brought this experience and philosophy to Flagler Health+ to continue a tradition of superior care with a holistic approach to health. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to continue this tradition at Signature+” expressed Dr. Moon.
In Florida, he is affiliated with Flagler Hospital and Mayo Clinic-Jacksonville.
Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Moon enjoys spending time with his wife and reading medical literature. He also enjoys sports cars and auto racing.
