Get to know Family Physician Dr. Anthony J. Rizzo, who serves patients throughout the State of New York.

A determined family physician, Dr. Rizzo works with patients at his private practice – Island Health Care – with offices in Bay Shore and St. James, New York. He can also be found on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Throughout his academic career, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine, before completing his internship and residency in family medicine at the Good Samaritan Hospital.

As a testament to his success, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.
