Dr. Khosravi is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician with the University of Kentucky Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He is also on staff at the UK Kentucky Clinic in Lexington, and is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Dr. Khosravi’s clinical interests include asthma and COPD, which his research focuses on areas of airway neurobiology, asthma and remodeling.
After acquiring his medical degree in 1997 at the Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, Dr. Khosravi relocated to the United States, where he completed a residency in internal medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan (2000 – 2003), and chief residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana in Urbana, Illinois. Thereafter, Dr. Khosravi conducted a fellowship in pulmonary and critical medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wisconsin (2003 – 2006).
Dr. Khosravi holds three board certifications with the American Board of Internal Medicine, i.e., critical care medicine, pulmonary disease medicine, and internal medicine. The American Board of Internal Medicine is a 501 nonprofit, self-appointed physician-evaluation organization that certifies physicians practicing internal medicine and its subspecialties.
