He completed a residency in family medicine at Huntsville Hospital from 1989 to 1992, where he honed his skills in patient care.

Dr. Adams has undergone extensive training and completed several prestigious fellowships to enhance his expertise in orthopedic medicine and pain management. He participated in the Cadaver Procedure Course with Ultrasonography and Fluoroscopy offered by the American Association of Orthopedic Medicine, gaining hands-on experience in advanced techniques. He also attended the Future of Pain Medicine Conference hosted by the World Academy of Pain Medicine, further refining his approach to pain management. Dr. Adams continued his education through the International Procedure Course by the American Association of Orthopedic Medicine, focusing on global advancements in orthopedic procedures. His commitment to comprehensive care also led him to the Basic Spine Orth-Biologic Injection Course with Diagnostic Ultrasound by the International Orthopedic Foundation, which strengthened his skills in spinal treatments. Additionally, Dr. Adams completed a fellowship at the South Florida Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Institute, furthering his knowledge in regenerative medicine. He also completed a Stem Cell Fellowship with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, equipping him with specialized techniques for advanced stem cell therapies in clinical practice.

Throughout his career, Dr. Adams has made impactful contributions to the medical community, including the development of the Observation Unit in the Huntsville Hospital ER and serving as the first medical director of the Palliative Care Unit. His previous experience with a radiation oncology group at The Center for Cancer Care further enriched his expertise in patient consultation and follow-up care.
