Throughout his academic career, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science from the University of Missouri in Columbia, and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City. Even during his dental education, he exhibited an exceptional work ethic by dedicating extra hours at his father’s dental practice in North Kansas City.

Post-graduation, Dr. Gordon embarked on a relentless pursuit of excellence in implant dentistry. He undertook a rigorous one-year comprehensive program at the Dental College of UNLV MAXI course, delving deep into the intricacies of implantology. His thirst for knowledge led him to prestigious mentors like Dr. Hilt Tatum in Paris, the pioneering mind behind the sinus lift technique, and Dr. Jack Hahn, the innovative force behind Nobel BioCare’s Replace Implant and Glidewell Dental’s Hahn implant.

The culmination of Dr. Gordon’s dedication is evident in his remarkable track record, having personally placed and restored over 10,000 implants. Such expertise has earned him the highest certifications in Implant Dentistry, including board certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry and fellowship with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (FAAID), and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI).

A stalwart in the dental community, Dr. Gordon is an active member of numerous prestigious organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
