Extremely passionate about providing care, treatment, and well-being throughout the community, he is the President of Integrated Oriental Medicine with offices in Bellevue and Seattle, Washington. 

He and his team provide alternative solutions to the full range of physical and emotional problems affecting adults of all ages. Their dedication to the communities of Seattle and Bellevue is felt and experienced as they welcome patients into their comforting environment and give their full attention to evaluating each person’s health, talking about traditional Chinese medicine, and explaining how each treatment works.

Pertaining to his educational background, Dr. Men is a 1985 graduate of Shaanxi College of Traditional Medicine in China, where he practiced general and urological surgery utilizing an integrated approach at the Staff Hospital of Shaanxi. In the United States, he was trained in the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Virginia Mason Medical Center, as well as the Clinical Associates in Seattle.

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine in which thin needles are inserted into the body. The practice is also used to maintain general health. Acupuncturists treat a variety of physical and psychological issues like internal medicine hypertension or anxiety. 

Herbal medicine is the study of botany and the use of medicinal plants. Plants have been the basis for medical treatments through much of human history, and such traditional medicine is still widely practiced today. An herbologist or herbalist is a person who studies how plant essences can be used to help heal and treat ailments and health issues.

With expertise recognized by his peers in traditional, integrative, and Chinese medicine, Dr. Men’s list of qualifications includes Washington Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbologist and Diplomate in Acupuncture awarded by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He is the writer and creator of Dr. Men Chinese Sublingual Diagnosis through his traditional Chinese medical and surgical experience and his understanding of Dr. Yingqing Zhang’s ECIWO theory, physiology, and pathology.
