Dr. Matthew completed his medical degree in 1992 at The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He then pursued his internal medicine residency at the same educational venue (1992-1995), followed by his nephrology fellowship conducted at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD (1995-1997). 

Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in internal medicine and the subspecialty of nephrology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
