Get to know Gastroenterologist Dr. Alif Manejwala, who serves patients in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

A detail-oriented and dedicated gastroenterologist, Dr. Manejwala is in practice at UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He is clinically interested in performing endoscopy, colonoscopy, feeding rube placements, and sigmoidoscopy. He also provides care for those experiencing Crohn’s disease, stomach pain, and gallbladder problems, among many others.

A native of Mumbai, India, he attended the Grant Medical College Maharashtra University of Health Sciences to receive his medical degree. After relocating to the United States, he completed his internship, residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology at the Bergen Regional Medical Center.

A member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the doctor is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
