Through her compassion and dedication to helping patients’ smile, no matter their circumstances, Dr. Sun prides herself and her staff in their ability to provide an extensive list of services and treatments including dental crowns and bridges, teeth whitening, orthodontics, and Invisalign, among others. Dr. Sun earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1988. She also earned her Master of Public Health degree from Harvard School of Public Health in 1988. Dr. Sun completed her general dentistry residency program at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. Since then, she has been in private practice.

Dr. Sun strives to provide the highest quality of dentistry to the whole family. She is passionate about her work and her patients. In keeping with this commitment, she attends continuing education seminars to stay abreast with the latest techniques and technology in dentistry. Dr. Sun is a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Christian Dental Society, and the International Association of Orthodontics.

Dr. Sun has a strong commitment to service. For many years, she and her family traveled with a team of dentists and hygienists to provide free dental care to the people of Jamaica. Now, every month, Dr. Sun travels to downtown Chicago to provide free dental care to the homeless through the Pacific Garden Mission. Dr. Sun and her husband have three daughters and one son. In her spare time, she and her husband are busy keeping up with the extracurricular activities of their younger children.
