Dr. Moore is a dual fellowship-trained and triple board-certified clinical cardiac electrophysiologist. He specializes in treating rhythm disorders of the heart, such as heart murmurs and palpitations, and is experienced in cardiac electrophysiology, ablation, acute and chronic heart failure, pacemaker, ICD, and biventricular assist device implantation.
Practicing medicine in Kentucky, he can be found on staff at The Medical Center at Bowling Green & Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital.
Educated in the United States, Dr. Moore graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to perform his residency in internal medicine at McLaren Macomb Hospital in 1987, and his fellowships in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 1990 and 1992, respectively.
With over 40 years of experience in the field of medicine, he is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM). The AOBIM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults.
Holding fellowship status, Dr. Moore is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS).
