Dr. Fridley has been a member of the Army National Guard for over 17 years, with multiple deployments and achievements including Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and medical coverage for the 2015 visit of Pope Francis. He dedicates himself to the delivery of quality care and superior treatment of his patients and soldiers alike. He continues to serve his community and country to this day. Dr. Fridley enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.He accredits all that he has accomplished to them being by his side.

A highly trained general and bariatric surgeon, Dr. Fridley is the Owner of Surgical Associates of Bayonet Point in Hudson, Florida. He is committed to providing compassionate care for his patients by performing a wide range of general surgery treatments and weight loss options through minimally invasive techniques. He is also on staff at the University of South Florida teaching residents.
Born in Augsburg, Germany in a military family, he was raised throughout Europe and the United States. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Florida, and graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency in general surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and his fellowship in bariatric and robotic surgery at the Reading Hospital.
With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in bariatric surgery and general surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the use of surgery to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Achieving fellowship status, Dr. Fridley is a Fellow of both the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (FACOS), and the American Society of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgeons (FASMBS).
In order to remain current with the latest in his field, he is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
