Prior to his current endeavors, he served as a diagnostic and interventional radiologist at Princeton Radiology (January 2020 – June 2020) and at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital (2010 – 2019).

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Mahmood graduated with his Bachelor of Applied Science, Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Economics from Cornell University. He then went on to earn his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Furthering his training, he performed his residency in diagnostic radiology by the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He also completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in vascular and interventional radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
