It is there that he performed his internship in internal medicine at Westchester Medical Center in 2002, his residency in internal medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan, his residency in neurology at Temple University Hospital in 2005, and his fellowship in neurophysiology/EMG/EEG at Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center in St. Louis in 2006. He also participated in clinical trials in hematology and oncology at Brookdale University Hospital in New York.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, neuromuscular medicine, and vascular neurology through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
Dr. Mohsen has worked as a neurologist at several hospitals across the United States, most recently at Tenet Florida Physician Services at North Shore Medical Center in Miami, and previously at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville.
Among his professional affiliations include membership status with the Advanced Neuroscience Network, the American Board of Medical Specialties, the American Academy of Neurology, the Temple University Hospital Performance Improvement Committee, the American Headache Society, the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the American Medical Association, the AAN Ethics Section Committee, and the National Arab American Medical Association.
