Dr. Terrany loves helping patients overcome their hesitations about having root canals performed. She treats every patient like family. “Being able to help patients in pain is the most rewarding practice in dentistry” according to Dr. Terrany, and it is the reason why she specialized in endodontics.
Dr. Terrany’s interest in general dentistry began at the age of twelve while visiting her friend’s dad’s office. She was amazed by the artistic side of dentistry and the gratitude patients had after being relieved of their pain. Coming from a family of artists and doctors, becoming a dentist became a natural path for her.
Endodontics is the dental specialty concerned with the study and treatment of the dental pulp. An endodontist is a dentist who specializes in saving teeth. Endodontists become specialists by completing two or more years of advanced training in endodontics following dental school. Combining her experience in general dentistry and endodontics to alleviate her patients’ discomfort is Dr. Terrany’s number one priority.
Dr. Terrany, her husband, and their two children have made Houston their home. During her spare time, Dr. Terrany enjoys painting, swimming, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
