Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Tassin earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine, before completing his internship at the Ochsner Medical Foundation, and his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center. He then went on to complete his fellowships in interventional & vascular radiology and clinical oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
Holding membership status, he is an active member of the American College of Radiology, the American Cancer Society, and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
