A native of Florida, Dr. Golsen attended the University of Georgia. She finished her Bachelor of Science degree at the Medical College of Georgia. Her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree was also awarded from the Medical College School of Dentistry in 1993.
Dr. Golsen was a clinical instructor in the Dental Hygiene program at Georgia State University Perimeter College. She was also an international trainer for Kreativ air abrasion technology, training dentists from all over the world on the technology.
Dr Golsen has always provided the latest proven technology for her patients which included decay scanning cameras, oral cancer screening lights and itero scan technology.
Dr. Golsen has hundreds of continuing education hours on topics such as anterior and posterior cosmetics, invisalign, implants, periodontal disease, laser dentistry, Botox, fillers, and occlusion. She has also completed extensive hands-on courses with live patients. Some of the cutting edge procedures she has love is the enamel saving “Durathin veneers.” This technique allows beautiful veneers to be placed on virgin teeth without damaging the teeth with a preparation. A game changer in dentistry.
Dr. Golsen became a member of the Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (GACD) in 1995. She was also the 2016 president of the GACD. Furthermore, she is a member of several other professional organizations, including the Hinman Dental Society, the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Northern District Dental Society, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
