She then went on to complete her internship and residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. This was followed by a fellowship at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
In addition to being the Founder of the Phoenix Oncology Society and Co-founding member of the Arizona Clinical Oncology Society, the doctor is board-certified in both internal medicine and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
