Upon graduating with his medical degree from Government Medical College Kottayam in India in 1972, Dr. James relocated to the United States to further his training. Once there, he completed his residency and fellowship in cardiology at Mercy Hospital & Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the doctor is board-certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
