Get to know Family Physician Dr. Cheri Kay McCue, who serves patients in Sebring, Florida.

Dr. McCue is a family physician who has been in practice for over 20 years. She is currently serving patients at her private practice in Sebring, Florida. She takes new patients as well.

Dr. McCue earned her medical degree from Universidad Central del Este Facultad de Medicina in the Domenican Republic. She then went on to complete her three-year residency at Louisiana State University.

Dr. McCue is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). The AAFP was founded in 1947 to promote the science and art of family medicine. It is one of the largest medical organizations in the United States, with over 131,400 members.

Throughout her career, Dr. McCue has received many awards and accolades including the Patients’ Choice Award in 2016, 2017, and 2018. She also received Compassionate Doctor Recognition in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Family medicine, formerly family practice, is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for all adults; the specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. Family physicians are often the first person whom a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
