Get to know Dermatologist Dr. Maria A. Paul, who serves patients in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

A highly trained dermatologist, Dr. Paul is affiliated with South Hills Dermatology in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her areas of clinical interest include adult and pediatric general dermatology and dermatologic surgery, including diseases of hair, skin, and nails. She can also be found on staff at St. Clair Hospital.

Graduating cum laude from Washington & Jefferson College, she completed her Master of Public Health degree (MPH) from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. She then went on to complete her medical education and internship at the Pennsylvania State University Milton S. Hershey School of Medicine, before completing a residency in dermatology at the Wake Forest University Bowman Gray School of Medicine.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), the doctor is board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, which is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

Professionally, Dr. Paul is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Pittsburgh Academy of Dermatology, and the Allegheny County Medical Society.
