Dr. Flynn is a General/Trauma Surgeon serving San Angelo and the surrounding communities. He is associated with Shannon Medical Center – a designated Level III Lead Trauma Facility for the region, have a nationally recognized ICU and a nationally recognized Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery service.  

Dr. Flynn received his Medical Degree (MD) from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas in 1991. He went on to complete a Surgical Residency and Trauma/Critical Care Fellowship at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Flynn is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, nonprofit organization founded in 1937 to provide board certification to individuals who have met a defined standard of education, training and knowledge in the field of surgery.

Dr. Flynn, in conjunction with General/Trauma/Vascular Surgery colleagues, provides around the clock care for patients with disease processes involving the chest, abdomen, blood vessels and soft tissue.
