Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Georges Edouard, who serves patients in Plantation, Florida.

Dr. Edouard is an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist who specializes in women’s health, particularly the female reproductive system, pregnancy, and childbirth. In practice for more than four decades, he sees patients at Plantation Pavilion OB/GYN.

Professionally, he also remains affiliated with several medical centers and hospitals throughout the state of Florida, including Broward Health Medical Center and Plantation General Hospital.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy at the University of Haiti in 1976. Among his extensive residency training in obstetrics and gynecology includes: Hospital Immaculée Conception (1977), Cabrini Medical Center (1980), St. John’s Episcopal Hospital (1981), Interfaith Medical Center (1982), and SUNY – Downstate Medical Center (1985).

With a passion for his profession, Dr. Edouard is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics and gynecology. An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health. 

On a more personal note, Dr. Edouard speaks English, Spanish, and Creole (Haitian).
