Get to know Hematologist-Oncologist Dr. Wenqing Zhang, who serves patients throughout the State of Pennsylvania.
A board-certified and fellowship-trained hematologist-oncologist, Dr. Zhang is affiliated with St. Luke’s Hematology Oncology Specialists, working with patients at their offices in Bethlehem and Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. He specializes in the treatment of all cancer types and blood disorders, with a particular focus on breast cancer, lung cancer and lymphoma.
A native of China, he graduated with his medical degree from the Xinxiang Medical College, and went on to pursue both a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Medical Science from Beijing Medical University. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Louisville James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
An authority in his field, the doctor is board-certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
