Get to know Hematologist-Oncologist Dr. Lori C. Hemrock, who serves patients in Warren, Ohio. Dr. Hemrock is board-certified in both Hematology and Oncology. She is currently serving patients at the Hope Center for Cancer Care, located in Warren, Ohio. Physicians at the Hope Center for Cancer Care remain focused on fighting cancer and blood disorders, and are committed to providing the most advanced and complete care available. The Center offers the latest technologies and cancer treatments, including sophisticated infusional chemotherapies, as well as support services designed to provide comprehensive care for patients and their families. Dr. Hemrock received her medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. She then went on to serve her internship and residency at Case Western Reserve University at University Hospitals of Cleveland, where she was appointed as a fellow at the Ireland Cancer Center.She also received research training through a clinical scholars’ research course at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Hemrock is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA). The AMA is the philanthropic arm of the American Medical Association; a 501(c)(3) dedicated to recognizing outstanding medical leaders and innovative community health initiatives. Their mission is to bring together physicians and community to improve the nation’s health. Additionally, Dr. Hemrock is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). The ASCO’s diverse network of nearly 45,000 oncology professionals recognizes ASCO’s dedication to conquering cancer through research, education, and promotion of the highest quality patient care. Dr. Hemrock has participated in several research projects on non-small cell lung cancer. She has also received many awards for her clinical expertise, including the award for 2018 Top Hematologist & Oncologist in Warren, Ohio. Dr. Hemrock is married and has three children. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, hiking, wine tasting, playing poker, and traveling.
