Dr. Ebrahim is a board-certified nephrologist & hypertension specialist who has experience in all spectrums of nephrology-related problems. His special interests include hypertension, electrolytes, and acute kidney failure.
Dedicated to providing each patient with the best possible care, he is the Co-Owner of Spartanburg Nephrology Associates, LLC. The practice has been providing quality nephrology care for the Spartanburg, South Carolina and surrounding areas since 1989.

In his professional experience, Dr. Ebrahim is a medical staff member of Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care, Spartanburg Medical Center – Mary Black Campus, Spartanburg Rehabilitation Institute, and Pelham Medical Center. Namely, he serves as the Chair-person of the Renal Advisory Board at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, a member of the Quality Review Committee at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, and a provider of administrative services for Spartanburg Rehabilitation Institute.
He is also actively involved in the teaching program with Spartanburg Regional Residency Program and the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) – Spartanburg and Blacksburg campuses. Since 2011, he has served as an Assistant Professor and a guest speaker for VCOM.
Back in 1991, Dr. Ebrahim graduated with his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan. In June of 1997, he performed his residency in internal medicine at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons / NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem. Two years later, in June of 1999, he completed his fellowship in nephrology at the Medical College of Georgia.
Prior to his current endeavours, he served as the Vice-Chief of the Nephrology Department at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center (2003 – 2007), a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center (2003 to 2014), the Department Chair of Medicine at Spartanburg Restorative Care (2007 to 2008), and the Chief of the Nephrology Department at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center (2008-2012). He also participated with Palmetto Research Center, LLC in clinical research.
With a commitment to his speciality, the doctor is board-certified in nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
