She then attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine where she graduated with her Medical Degree in 1991. Giving her over two decades of experience in her field. Experience: After obtaining her Medical Degree Dr. Maindiratta completed her internship and internal medicine residency with the New York University School of Medicine. She then completed a neurology residency with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center, where she was named chief resident. Wanting to further her training she completed her Neuromuscular Disorders and EMG fellowship with the Montefiore Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. To stay up to date in her field she remains a professional member of the American Medical Association, American Neurology Association, American Pain Association, and the American Academy of Hospice  & Palliative Medicine. Current Position: Dr. Maindiratta has practiced within her private practice for more than two decades. Dr. Maindiratta says, "Being a physician is a privilege.
