Dr. Menon is an interventional radiologist who is affiliated with Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. Founded in 1901, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is a regional care teaching hospital that provides comprehensive health care. It is home to one of the nation’s top 10 heart transplant centers, which has performed more than 1,000 heart transplants.

Dr. Menon is affiliated with several other hospitals and medical centers in the New Jersey area, including Christ Hospital, Bayonne Medical Center and Hoboken University Medical Center.

Dr. Menon earned his medical degree from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 2008. He then went on to complete his residency and fellowship training at Beth Israel Medical Center (Mount Sinai West) in New York City. 

Dr. Menon is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is an independent, not-for-profit organization and is one of 24 national medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties.  

Interventional Radiology is a medical specialisation of Radiology, that involves performing a range of minimally invasive image guided procedures. The interventional radiologist carefully interprets images to diagnose injury and disease, and then performs potentially life saving interventions. Dr. Menon’s interests lie in interventional oncology, lower extremity venous and pulmonary arterial thromboembolism, uterine fibroid treatments, dialysis access interventions, and treating spinal fractures, among many others. He is a regular contributor in multidisciplinary tumor boards and also serves as the director of resident training in Interventional Radiology at his institution.
