Dr. Lotsikas is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. After 15 years of practicing medical and cosmetic dermatology in Chevy Chase and Greenbelt Maryland, she founded Pure Dermatology & Cosmetic Center.

Passionate about both medical and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Lotsikas is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of adult and pediatric skin conditions, skin cancer and cosmetic dermatology including injectables and laser therapies for skin rejuvenation.
Well-known for her attention to detail, artistic eye, and dedicated to quality, personalized care for every patient, she has extensive expertise in non-invasive cosmetic treatments such as Ultherapy skin tightening, IPL photorejuvenation, laser therapies, superficial fractional skin resurfacing, wrinkle reducers Botox, Dysport and Xeomin, as well as dermal fillers such as the Juvéderm, Voluma, Vollure, Volbella, Restylane, Restylane Lyft, and Restylane Kysse. She has a passion for dermal fillers and believes in an individualized approach for her patients to achieve a healthy, vibrant appearance for natural-looking results with minimal downtime.
A native Washingtonian, Dr. Lotsikas graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from George Washington University and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She spent two years doing clinical research at the world-renowned National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, as a pre-doctoral fellow. She graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her residency in dermatology at Georgetown University Hospital.
Following her training, she attained board certification in dermatology through the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.
Recognized as one of Washington DC’s “Top Doctors” by the Washingtonian Magazine, Dr. Lotsikas is an active member of the Washington D.C. Dermatological Society, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
Throughout her fruitful career, Dr. Lotsikas has authored over 15 research publications and has co-authored a chapter on Chemexfoliation and Superficial Skin Resurfacing. She has been featured in a variety of television programs including local Washington DC newscasts WRC-TV (NBC 4), WJLA-TV (ABC), “Healthline” and “Retirement Living’s The Voice”.
