Having been recognized as one of The Best Doctors in America in the specialty of Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry, Dr. Pearce has been practicing in the nation’s capital of Washington, D.C. (a few blocks from the White House) since 1975. His skill, expertise, and dedication to excellence has been consistent throughout his career.
As the founder of The International Center of Washington for Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry, his goal is to assist each patient in achieving and maintaining long-term dental health and a beautiful smile. He offers a comprehensive list of general, restorative, and cosmetic dental services to meet patients’ needs. In addition, Dr. Pearces services also include cleaning & exams, dental implant restorations, porcelain veneers, root canal treatment, dentures & partials, teeth whitening, tooth colored fillings, porcelain crowns, sleep apnea treating, anti-snoring treatment, TMJ diagnosis & treatment, bruxing & clenching treatment, dental emergencies, and additional services.
Graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree from American University in 1967, Dr. Pearce went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University in 1971. He then studied under the foremost leaders in endodontics and advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry at The Boston University Henry M. Goldman Graduate School of Dental Medicine and The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in post-graduate studies.
He was a part time faculty professor at Georgetown University School of Dentistry for over 10 years and a frequently visiting lecturer at Howard University College of Dentistry. In addition, he was a founding member and past-president of one of the most respected and prestigious dental study clubs in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area.
Certified by the National Board of Dentistry and the Northeast Regional Board of Dentistry. Dr. Pearce holds current memberships in the American Dental Association, the District of Columbia Dental Society, the Maimonides Dental Study Club, and the Alpha Omega Dental Study Club. He attributes his success to being energized by his patients that continually stimulates and challenges his genuine passion and interest in fully caring and providing them with their dental needs.
