A highly trained rheumatologist, Dr. Jonnala founded Eastside Rheumatology in 2007 and has since been dedicated to providing the best care possible to her patients. She specializes in treating a variety of rheumatological conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, osteoarthritis, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, Sjogren’s syndrome, gout, fibromyalgia and osteoporosis.
After completing her medical education at M. Rampure Medical College in India, she relocated to the United States to complete her training in internal medicine at Texas Tech University of Health Sciences, where she earned the Best Resident Award and was Chief Resident in her final year. She then went on to complete a fellowship in rheumatology at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.
During her time at UT Southwestern, Dr. Jonnala was actively involved in various clinical trials and lab research related to lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis. She has also been published in several medical journals and presented her work at national rheumatology meetings.
With an unwavering commitment to her specialty, the doctor is board-certified in rheumatology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
