Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. Saira Saqib, who serves patients in Saint Augustine, Florida.

Dr. Saqib is a trusted psychiatrist who holds privileges to practice at Flagler Hospital in Saint Augustine, Florida. Her experience enables her to offer effective outpatient, individualized psychiatric care. 

Working together to connect the dots, she treats a number of mental health disorders, and provides a neutral ground for individuals, families, and couples. Some of the most common issues that she treats include: depression, anxiety, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, attention deficit disorder, trauma and PTSD, eating disorder, schizophrenia, and many more.

At the start of her academic career, Dr. Saqib graduated with her medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Pakistan in 1990. Upon relocating to the United States, she completed her training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso and the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in 2005 and 2006, respectively. 

Named a 2020 Top Doctor by Women in Medicine, Dr. Saqib is a member of the Florida Psychiatric Society, the American Psychiatric Association, the Florida Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. 

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. These include various maladaptations related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions. Psychiatrists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. They conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results.

On a more personal note, Dr. Saqib speaks several languages, including English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
