Get to know Dr. David L. Mahon who serves patients in Nevada.

Dr. Mahon is a general dentist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at Siena Dental in Henderson, Nevada. “We provide conservative, patient-focused restorative, cosmetic, and preventative dental services. Our philosophy places a strong emphasis on preserving natural tooth structure, preventative care, and reversing early decay processes. We also believe in maximizing your investment in existing dentistry” as stated on the dental practice’s website. 

What sets Dr. Mahon apart is his gentle approach and dedication to providing the most conservative treatment methods to preserve natural tooth structures whenever possible. In doing so, he offers excellence in preventative dental care, with the ability to reverse tooth decay and gum disease at its earliest stages.

Dr. Mahon’s use of the latest dental technology allows him to carry out his philosophy of providing minimally invasive dentistry with respect to patient autonomy. He uses advanced soft tissue lasers to perform gum treatments and air flow polishing, which is an innovative tooth cleaning system that uses water, compressed air, and fine powder particles instead of traditional scraping tools and polishing discs.

Dr. Mahon earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry – University of the Pacific in 1998. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. 

Dr. Mahon is a member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association, and the Southern Nevada Dental Society. He participates in continuing education courses on an annual basis.
