Get to know Diagnostic Radiologist Dr. James S. Gilley, who serves patients throughout the State of Texas.

Recognized as a skilled diagnostic radiologist specializing in musculoskeletal radiology, Dr. Gilley is in practice with South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers (STRIC).

STRIC provides full service, outpatient diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services at twenty-two facilities conveniently located throughout San Antonio, Boerne, and Schertz, Texas. 

Professional interpretation and interventional procedures are provided by South Texas Radiology Group, P.A. (STRG). With over 70 board-certified radiologists, some with sub-specialization in fields such as neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, body, cardiac, breast and interventional radiology, STRG has experience and a reputation that spans more than fifty years.

A 1977 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Dr. Gilley went on to perform his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Utah Hospital in 1981.

That same year, the doctor attained board certification in diagnostic radiology through the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is an independent, not-for-profit organization and is one of 24 national medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties.

In good standing with a number of professional organizations, Dr. Gilley is an active member of ARS, BCMS, RSNA, TMA, and SSR.
