Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Jennifer G. Adair, who serves patients in Mobile, Alabama.

A caring pediatrician, Dr. Adair is in practice at Children’s Medical Group, PA in Mobile, Alabama. She hopes to encourage and empower parents through office visits, her articles with Mobile Bay Parents, and through educating about vaccines across the state of Alabama.

Children’s Medical Group, PA is a premier pediatric practice with two locations in Mobile, Alabama. They provide medical care for infants, children, teens and young adults. They offer preventive, wellness and health maintenance guidance for all of their patients, as well as same day urgent care seven days a week. They pride themselves in offering greater accessibility than all other pediatric practices in their service area.

A native of Mobile, Dr. Adair graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama in 2006, and earned her medical degree from the University of South Alabama School of Medicine in 2010. She then went on to complete her residency at the University of Nevada in 2012, and returned to the University of South Alabama to complete her fellowship.

As a testament of her continued education, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.

On a more personal note, Dr. Adair married her husband, Cory, in June 2010 and then moved to Las Vegas for residency. They moved back to Mobile in 2012 and have called it home since then. They have two boys, Finn and James Albert, and three dogs, Barkley, Fitz, and Roo who keep them busy. She loves Alabama football, her Bible study groups, spending time with her family, and traveling.
