In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG), Dr. Gupta is an active member of various national organizations such as the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopists. Locally, he is a member of the Kentucky Medical Association and the Greater Louisville Medical Society.  

Furthermore, he is board-certified in gastroenterology and hepatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
