She then performed her internship in general surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, her residency in orthopaedic surgery at Hospital for Special Surgery, and her fellowship in sports medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. During her fellowship, she served as an assistant team physician in the care of the Boston Red Sox, New England Revolution, and Boston Bruins as well as served as the head team physician for Curry College athletics.
Holding certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support, she is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and orthopaedic sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopaedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopaedic surgeons.
