A dual board-certified oncologist & survivorship advocate, Dr. Nanney is licensed to practice medicine in the states of Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas.

In association with Mercy Health System, he offers his services at Mercy Clinic Cancer and Hematology – Rolla, Mercy Oncology Infusion Center – Rolla, and Mercy Clinic Oncology and Hematology – Joplin. 

Also, he is affiliated with Mercy Hospital Springfield, Mercy Hospital Aurora, Mercy Hospital Lebanon, Mercy Hospital Joplin, Mercy Hospital Cassville, and Mercy St. Francis Hospital.

Beginning his formal pursuit of a career in medicine after completing his undergraduate studies at East Central University, Dr. Nanney gained admittance to the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. As a medical student, he garnered membership with the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received both the Solomon Papper Human Scholarship Award and the Lange Medical Publishing Award.

 After graduating with distinction with his medical degree, Dr. Nanney remained at the university to complete a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology and oncology.

With over four decades of medical experience, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
