What do I need to do in the week leading up to surgery to prepare?
Normally, your surgeon is supposed to provide you with written instructions. Since that is not the case, I instruct my patients: To avoid taking Aspirin, Advil, Aleve, vitamin E, and other anti-inflammatory drugs that may cause bleeding at least one week prior to the surgery date. - Even after completing his fellowship training, Dr. Shahar continued to learn from other doctors before opening his own practice. Early on and at his own expense, he attended many seminars featuring the top surgeons so he could learn from the best. Dr. Shahar also collected magazines to study the features and attributes of the models so he could analyze their faces. His intense focus to understand what makes someone beautiful provides information on how to enhance his patients\' features so he can improve their appearances as naturally as possible.
