Dr. Colvard is the Director of the Colvard-Kandavel Eye Center in Encino, California. The Colvard-Kandavel Eye Center is a nationally recognized practice specializing in the medical and surgical management of a comprehensive range of eye conditions. The Center is dedicated to providing compassionate, thoughtful and personalized care, using the finest and most advanced technology available today.

Dr. Colvard is the also the Founder and Medical Director of the Friends of Vision Foundation – an organization supporting medical charities in third world countries. Moreover, he is a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.

Dr. Colvard is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). Dr. Colvard’s acclaimed career in medicine began in 1973, when he graduated from the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Thereafter, he went on to complete his internship with the Tufts New England Medical Center.
