Alternative Medicine

Reed Moeller is a chiropractor/ acupuncturist practicing in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Moeller evaluates and treats patients based on the concepts of western and oriental medicine. Chiropractors and Acupuncturists complete their evaluations by getting a patient history and looking at and touching the body. Treatment consists of finding where the stress is in the nervous system and removing it with gentle chiropractic and then placing very fine acupuncture needles into specific points on the body to channel energy to where the body needs healing.  Stimulating these points and nerves is how Dr. Moeller treats the patient's condition. Many of the body's systems respond to chiropractic and acupuncture, and they can treat physical pain as well as emotional stress.

Get to know Chiropractor Reed Martin Moeller, who serves patients in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dr. Moeller is a licensed chiropractor / acupuncturist serving as the Owner & Operator of Forest Park Chiropractic & Acupuncture Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is committed to caring for each patient like they are family and strives to be the best doctor in the field.

Both acupuncture and chiropractic care combine to provide the best treatment for ailing bodies, and both help improve the way the body functions in order to allow it to heal itself naturally.

Evaluating and treating patients based on the concepts of western and eastern medicine, Dr. Moeller is dedicated to helping each individual make a change in their health and well-being. He focuses on finding the source of one’s health concern and developing a path to help them reach their wellness goals.

While wrestling for Ohio Northern University during his senior year of college, Dr. Moeller discovered chiropractic care. An injury to his lower back made it so that he could barely walk. The MRI showed a severe herniated disc, and while the surgeons wanted to do surgery, his coach recommended chiropractic care.

After a few weeks of treatment, he felt much better and was even able to resume wrestling. This made Dr. Moeller realize that chiropractic care was effective and should be the first place people go when they get hurt.

He graduated from Ohio Northern University and went on to receive a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College. After working for a few years as an associate doctor, he opened Forest Park Chiropractic in 1989. More than three decades later, the practice is still going strong in the very same location.

In 2009, Dr. Moeller graduated from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and passed his board exams to become licensed to practice Acupuncture in Ohio.

Continuously advancing his efforts, he is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Ohio State Chiropractic Association.

Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor uses spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients’ health concerns, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, vertigo and a long list of other ailments and conditions. They aim to improve patients’ functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body’s neuromusculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself naturally, without the use of medication or surgery.

On a more personal note, Dr. Moeller’s office speaks English and Spanish.
