Born and raised and currently residing in Cut Off, Louisiana, Dr. Birdsall graduated with his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1984. He then went on to perform his residency in family medicine at Earl K Long Medical Center in 1987.
Holding an active license with the State of Louisiana since August of 1984, he is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
