A devoted dermatologist, Dr. Rencic is the Owner of Rencic Dermatology, a private dermatologic practice in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. She believes that patients should play an active role in the health of their skin. She and her staff strive to provide efficient care in a tranquil and soothing atmosphere to people of all ethnic backgrounds and of all ages.
Educated in the United States, she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the Johns Hopkins University in 1990, and earned her medical degree and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. She then went on to complete her internship at the Pennsylvania Hospital, and her residency in dermatology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Finally, she completed a research fellowship focusing on rhinoviral infection and epithelial chemokine receptors under the guidance of Dr. Lisa Beck at the Johns Hopkins Asthma and Allergy Center.
As a testament of her continued education, the doctor is board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.
Continuously advancing her efforts, Dr. Rencic is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She is also a regular contributor to www.dermatlas.org, and is a past member of the American Medical Association.
Among her other roles, she can be found on staff at Chester County Hospital. In the past, she served as a Clinical Dermatologist at Mainline Dermatology, and as an Attending Dermatologist at Mercy Medical Center. She also served as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Maryland Medical System.
