Get to know Vascular Surgeon Dr. Suman Annambhotla, who serves patients throughout the State of Georgia.

Dr. Annambhotla is an experienced, board-certified vascular surgeon and vein specialist at Longstreet Clinic in Gainesville, and Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Longstreet Clinic Vascular & Vein is unique in that their providers are able to deliver innovative and personalized care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. They offer injection therapy for spider veins as well as minimally invasive endovenous options for varicose veins. They customize treatments to address the individual needs of each patient. They also diagnose and treat a variety of vascular conditions, both arterial and venous.

The doctor’s clinical interests include endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysms and lower extremity arterial disease, carotid endarterectomy and stenting, dialysis access creation and maintenance, DVT and PE treatment, and endovenous ablation for venous insufficiency and varicose veins.

Graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Dr. Annambhotla earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He furthered his education by completing a residency at the Baylor College of Medicine, and a fellowship at Northwestern University.

An authority in his field, he is board-certified in vascular surgery and general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), Dr. Annambhotla is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Association of Academic Surgeons, and the American Medical Association.

In his local area, he has hospital privileges at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, and Gwinnett Medical Center.
