Get to know Dentist Dr. Anne W. Magner, who serves patients in New City, New York.

From a routine exam and cleaning to full-mouth rehabilitation, Dr. Magner provides comprehensive dental care to patients at Cosmetic & Implant Dental Associates k. She practices alongside her husband, Dr. Douglas Magner, DDS, serving patients in a comfortable and professional atmosphere.

Exemplary patient care, outstanding aesthetic results, compassion, and integrity are the cornerstones of their dental practice. Incorporating the latest technology, their state-of-the-art practice specializes in implantology, cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, orthodontics, and prosthodontics.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Magner received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University and completed two years of postgraduate studies in periodontics with an additional two-year fellowship in implantology. She spent three years on the faculty at New York University and has been published in several dental research journals on innovative techniques. 

Having been practicing dentistry since 1980, she is continually involved in updating her knowledge of the newest techniques through at least three weeks of continuing education each year. Board-qualified in the field of periodontics, she has lectured and presented papers on periodontics to dental groups and dental association meetings.

“My goal is to ensure my patients have the most comfortable dental experience possible and to provide cutting edge technologically advanced treatment which will consequently improve and enhance their quality of life. I endeavor to change my patients’ perception of dentistry so they will be appreciative of the care they receive and no longer dread going to the dentist” as stated by Dr. Magner.

Among her professional affiliations, she is a member of the American Dental Association, the 1st District Dental Society, N.E.J.O.C. Periodontics, the American Academy of Periodontics, the Midtown Study Group, the New York County Dental Society, the New York State Dental Society, and the Academy of Osseointegration (Implantology). 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
