The team of board-certified neurosurgeons and fellowship-trained neurosurgical specialists at the Brain and Spine Center of South Florida provide patient-centered care from two convenient locations in Delray Beach and Palm Beach Gardens. People from South Florida and all around the world visit the practice to manage various neurological conditions, including brain tumors, back and neck pain, degenerated disc disease, and herniated discs. The team also offers more specialized care, including high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and essential tremors.

Beginning his professional education at Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Zucker went on to obtain his medical degree at the Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine in Newark. After completing his medical education, he completed a residency in neurosurgery at the University of Connecticut – Hartford Hospital, followed by a fellowship in spinal surgery at the University of South Florida – Tampa General Hospital.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS), the doctor is board-certified in neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS). The broad aim of the ABNS is to encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards and advance the science of neurological surgery and thereby serve the cause of public health.

On a professional level, he is an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the North American Spine Society. He also serves as secretary and treasurer of the Subcortical Surgery Group.

In addition to his work at the Brain and Spine Center of South Florida, Dr. Zucker holds several leadership positions at area facilities, including Chief of Neurosurgery at Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach and Director of Neurosurgical Services at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach. He is also one of the few providers in the area offering radiosurgery, neuro-oncology, and stereotactic procedures, further cementing his reputation as a leading neurosurgeon.
