Some of her areas of expertise include general dentistry, cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, preventive and restorative dentistry, and implants with prosthodontics. Her mission is to provide supportive and preventive dental treatment as part of a team of care providers.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Emerson graduated with her Bachelor of SCience Degree in Chemistry from Yale University in 1998. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2008.

Having been in the field of dentistry treating people for over 15 years, Dr. Emerson follows a patient-centered approach of providing high quality care which is tailored to each patient’s needs.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

Among Dr. Emerson’s various accolades include Yale Masters Award (1998), UW Hospital Dentistry Award (2002), UW Governance & Service Award (2002), UW Wands Fellowship in Prosthodontics (2008), to name a few.
