Get to know Colon and Rectal Surgeon Dr. Tobi Reidy, who serves the population of Indiana. Dr. Reidy completed her undergraduate degree with the Northwestern Health Sciences University where she graduated with a Bachelor in human Biology. Additionally she her Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine Degree from the Northwestern College of Chiropractic. She graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the Nova Southeastern University – College of Osteopathic Medicine. After obtaining her degree she completed her general surgery residency with the The Jewish Hospital. Wanting to further her training she then completed her Colon and Rectal Surgery fellowship with the Indiana University and an additional fellowship with the Kendrick Regional Center for Colon and Rectal Care . Dr. Reidy is dual certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon And Rectal Surgery. To stay up to date in her field she remains a professional member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, Association of Women Surgeons, and the American Osteopathic Association and has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Reidy currently practices as a Colon and Rectal Surgeon with St. Francis Health. There she holds an expertise in colon cancer, rectal cancer, screening colonoscopy, diagnostic colonoscopy, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, diverticular disease, hemorrhoids, rectal prolapse, fissure and fistulas, anal lesions, rectal bleeding, rectal pin, constipation, abdominal pain, and fecal incontinence. Colon and rectal surgery focuses on the treatment of diseases and conditions affecting the intestinal tract, rectum, anus and peri-anal areas.
