Get to know Board Certified Cardiologist Dr. Anmar Kanaan, a highly regarded expert in his field. Dr. Anmar Kanaan is a cardiologist in Akron, OH. Dr. Kanaan completed his internal medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital, where he was Chief Resident (2009-2010). He gained his fellowship at Rush University Medical Center, where he was Chief Fellow (2014-2015). Rush is an academic health system whose mission is to improve the health of the people and the diverse communities it serves. Rush University, with more than 2,500 students, is a health sciences university that comprises Rush Medical College, the College of Nursing, the College of Health Sciences and the Graduate College. Board-certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, he maintains a professional membership with the American Medical Association and the American College of Cardiology.
